IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition back in Canada in 2022

The decision has just been taken: the International Water Association (IWA)’s largest event, the World Water Congress & Exhibition (WWCE), attracting over 5000 participants every 2 years, will be held in Toronto August 13-20, 2022. On Sept. 23, in Prague, IWA’s Governing Assembly endorsed yesterday’s decision of its Board to accept the offer made by Toronto to host the 2022 WWCE in North America.

The Canadian National Council of IWA has proposed Peter Vanrolleghem to be the congress president, a true honour and certainly the highlight of his career." Being part of this great adventure will allow me to keep serving the IWA over the next 5 years while preparing this major water event" says Prof. Vanrolleghem.
