Peter Vanrolleghem was recognized by the Cercle des ambassadeurs de Québec for his involvement in the organisation.

The Evening of Tribute to members of the Cercle des ambassadeurs de Québec that organized congresses and meetings was held on January 15 in the Salle des Promotions du Séminaire de Québec. Seventeen members of the Circle of Ambassadors were honored for having attracted an event to Quebec City.

Peter Vanrolleghem, as outgoing ambassador of the year 2015, was asked to give a little speech to the ambassadors, reflecting on the role students can play in organizing scientific events. He was also recognized for the organization of the 10^th IWA / IAHR International Conference on Urban Drainage Modelling, held September 20-23 2015. He now focuses on ICA 2017, the 12th IWA International Conference on Instrumentation, Control and Automation to be held in Québec’s congress center June 12-14 2017.
