Québec City has agreed to fund the PhD study of Sovanna Tik entitled "Modelling and real-time control of the integrated system for transport and treatment of wastewaters". The innovative angle of this research is the use of particle settling velocity distributions to get a better grip on the dynamics of suspended matter in the sewer system and the primary settlers at the treatment plant.
