During the meeting of the Governing Assembly of the International Water Association (IWA) during the 2012 World Water Congress in Busan, South-Korea, Peter Vanrolleghem was appointed member of IWA's Board of Directors. The Board of Directors has the overall responsibility for IWA's corporate governance including its strategic direction, the review of the plans established by the management team, the monitoring of performance against those plans and the establishment and implementation of policies and internal controls.
