When Gabrielle was a bachelor student in water engineering at Université Laval, she did an internship during Summer 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Peter Vanrolleghem.

Gabrielle worked on the primEAU project as an intern in evaluating the performance of a primary clarifier. To do this, she has been working with a team of 3 graduate students. She did sampling during periods of dry weather and wet weather, the characterization of pollution and the reduction of pollution by sedimentation. The pollutants monitored were suspended solids, fats, proteins and sugars.
