Student at the University of Aix-Marseille in France, Florent obtained a DUT followed by a degree in chemical engineering and process engineering. In 2011, he joined the MAEVA Master to specialize in traditional and renewable energy, science and environmental bioprocesses.

When he integrated the modelEAU team, Florent worked on the characterization of particles in wastewater. This study was based on the determination of velocities of falls and sizes of suspended particles in the framework of the research on the primary clarification process, in the primEAU project.
