Queralt holds a bachelor degree in chemical engineering from the University of Barcelona, Spain (2010). She continued her studies in a master’s program in environmental engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2013) where she developed the basis for her master’s thesis at modelEAU as part of the monEAU project.

She worked on the monEAU project based on automatic water quality monitoring stations. Part of her work consisted in establishing an online data validation procedure to generate good water quality time series that can be used for process analysis and modelling.
