Research fields :

Bahareh Ghorbani Aliabadi completed her B.Sc. studies in chemical engineering in 2016 and her M.Sc in chemical engineering (Separation Process Design) in 2019 in university of Tehran. She started her PhD in May, 2020 at INRS under supervision of Sophie Duchesne and co-supervised by Peter Vanrolleghem.

Her PhD project focuses on Corrosion in drinking water distribution networks: processes and modelling. The goal of her project is to identify the effective factors in corrosion of drinking water distribution network in Quebec, effect of protection measures and to develop a mathematical model to help identify the best protection measures against corrosion.
