French student of 21 years old in Toulouse at the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA), Thomas came to join the research group as part of his 4th year internship.

Linked to the project primEAU within the framework of Giulia Bachis thesis, based on the development of a new generic model for primary sedimentation, the work was to continue the one done by former trainees involved in the project. The research teamwork realised for several years focused on the development of fractionation standardized protocol of the different compounds of wastewater. Thus, fractionation protocols of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids wereoperational. Thomas' remaining work was divided in two parts. To develop a protocol for Volatile Fatty Acids (VFA) titration and to participate in planning campaigns and analysing samples sessions on the PC pilot unit in the WWTP of Eastern Quebec.
