Jean David received his bachelor’s degree in water engineering at Université Laval in 2015. He has been pursuing a master’s degree in water engineering, also at Université Laval, since 2015.
The projects where Jean-David works aims to leverage the RODTOX respirometer for in-line monitoring of the pilEAUte wastewater treatment plant influent. The device will enable monitoring of biological oxygen demand and toxicity as well as nitrate, nitrite and ammonium ion concentration by measuring the oxygen consumption caused by the digestion of influent organic matter content by activated sludge.
