Romain was a french student in cvil engineering at the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Strasbourg (INSAS) who specialised in urban development and environment. His integration into modelEAU was the last step towards becoming an civil engineer. Indeed, in order to graduate in September 2015, he had to do a final internship of 20 weeks.

His modelEAU project was based on the study of generation and the fate of particular pollution in sewer network. More precisely, his goal was to model the physical phenomenon in thesewer network of Quebec City by using a software called WEST (a tool of dynamic modelling and simulation which can be used for wastewater plants or other water quality systems).
