Romain was in the third and last year of French engineering school ENSEGID in Bordeaux (France) when he joined the modelEAU team. During this last year, he specialized in the water resource. Before those studies, he specialized in water treatment processes with a two-year technical degree.
Romain realized his final year project on the monitoring of azote treatment on the activate sludge pilot. In the team pilEAUte, he worked on the monitoring of the pilot, data analysis, and the modeling on WEST software during a sampling campaign. He also worked on the installation and the beginning of experimentations on azEAUte sensor, which measure the ammonium, nitrogen and nitrite concentration in the wastewater. Furthermore, he did different chemical analyses in the laboratory and the cleaning of the pilot and the co-pilot.
