Filip holds Master’s degrees in electronic engineering (micro-electronics), computer science and artificial intelligence. He also received a PhD in environmental engineering from Ghent University in Belgium.

As product owner of the DHI’s WEST modeling and simulation software, Filip is assisting modelEAU with a variety of projects that involve WEST, e.g. the deployment of the WEST back-end on Laval’s supercomputer infrastructure and linking WEST to modelEAU’s pilot plant.
