Marina Lorente Picón is finishing her degree in Biotechnoly at the University of Girona (UdG). She came to Université Laval in order to complete her final degree project by joining the modelEAU team directed by Peter Vanrolleghem.

Marina's project is based on sampling and analyzing the composition of influent, effluent and reactor content in the pilot plant. She is in charge of doing several experiments and uses microscope images to get a better understanding of sludge sedimentation.
