Research fields :

Julia has her background in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering from Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) with a one-year international experience at Swansea University (Wales, UK). Urban Drainage, Drinking Water and Wastewater Infrastructures Design/Management are among her main fields of interest.

At modelEAU, her aim comprises the characterization of particles along a sewer system, mainly in terms of total suspended solids (TSS) and their settleability. During the summer of 2017, measurement campaigns will generate data that will be used to better validate Quebec city’s sewer system model, previously developed by the modelEAU team.
