Jean-David has completed his bachelor’s degree in water engineering in 2015 at Université Laval. He then went on to work on a master’s degree under the supervision of Peter Vanrolleghem, which he completed in 2018. During that time, he has specialised himself in signals analysis and microbiological modelling of wastewater.

In 2019, Jean-David began a PhD in the modelEAU team. He works on the design of optimization tools for the operation of the WRRFs using mechanistic models and machine learning.
