Research fields :

With an engineering degree in environmental engineering, Quynh then pursued her master's and doctoral studies in France where she specialized in advanced oxidation processes. Wishing to deepen knowledge of biological wastewater treatment processes, Quynh decided to return to studies in this area.

Her master project is in Waste2Feed project's. In order to maximize bioresource recovery from the agro-food wastewater and to minimize the chemicals application for phosphorus recovery at the Montérégie Biomass Treatment Center (CTBM), this project aims to evaluate the potentials of aerobic granular sludge (AGS) process for biological phosphorus recovery for agricultural application. The feasibility of this project will first be validated by modeling with BioWin software and followed by an experimental approach using a a lab-scale sequential batch reactor (SBR).
