Sanaz Mohebali completed her B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2015. She continued her study at Sharif University of Technology (SUT) and obtained her M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering - Separation Processes in 2018. She worked on wastewater treatment projects using membrane and adsorption techniques during her B.Sc. and M.Sc. After gaining experience as a qualification engineer at a pharmaceutical company in Iran, she started her M.Sc. at modelEAU in January 2022. 

Her M.Sc. project focuses on monitoring, modeling, and optimization of nutrient removal wastewater treatment plants, with special emphasis on fault detection and fault-tolerant control.
