The student pursued her studies in France, beginning with two years at a University and Technological Institute (IUT) in Chemical Engineering, specifically focusing on Process Engineering. Following this, she completed a one-year program in Licence 3, specializing in Physicochemical Processes. Subsequently, she undertook a Master's degree in Processes for the Environment, with a specialization in water treatment.
The PhD project is centered around studying emerging contaminants of interest. Initially, the primary objective is to conduct a comprehensive characterization of these pollutants across 42 wastewater treatment plants in the Quebec City area. All the gathered data will be carefully analyzed to establish connections and predict the most suitable types of treatments, or combinations thereof, specifically tailored for the context of Quebec.
