Flanders, after experiencing one of its driest summers, must enhance its water management resilience. Our project aims to optimize infrastructure, promote circular water use, and make strategic new investments to benefit all regional stakeholders—from households to industries. The complexity of water management, involving numerous actors across vast areas, necessitates a sophisticated decision-making tool. We plan to develop a dynamic knowledge graph using semantic web standards, integrating data and modeling across scales. This tool will facilitate holistic scenario analysis, support decision-making, and ensure flexibility for future updates, fostering cross-domain collaborations, notably with the energy sector.
