Research fields :

Ludiwine Clouzot obtained her PhD in chemical engineering (membrane bioreactors) in 2009 from Université Aix-Marseille III (France) followed by a postdoctoral position in the same lab. Since September 2010, she is a postdoctoral researcher at modelEAU in Université Laval in Quebec City (Canada).

Her work is divided in two projects: primEAU and mircEAU

The primEAU project aims at enhancing primary sedimentation by means of better design and operation (coagulation/flocculation). The objective is to provide mathematical models and characterization methods for traditional and emerging contaminants.

The micrEAU project gathers research works on emerging contaminants. Mechanistic models are developed and validated to understand the fate of these contaminants in different wastewater treatment processes as well as their impact on aquatic ecosystems.
