Engineer from ENGEES, a French National Water and Environmental Engineering School in Strasbourg, with a specialization in sustainable water management in urban areas, Sovanna did her master at Université Laval.
Her MSc project dealt with chemically enhanced primary treatment. She worked in cooperation with the staff of the WWTP of Québec City. The project alEAU included modelling of the primary clarifiers and proposing a control strategy to operate the newly set up coagulation-flocculation system.
