Projects :
Automated monitoring stations for water quality

Research fields :

During the Summer 2011, Pierre-Luc worked with monEAU’s team for the installation of two monitoring stations in the Notre-Dame’s river. This two stations continuously  measure the water quality of this small river. One of them will is located upstream of a residential district and the other downstream. His work team had to establish the stations in field, calibrate the sensors and maintain those clean. Further, several sampling campagn have been necessary to verify the calibration and establish correlation between the parameters of the probes.

During the 2011 Winter, he worked on a project, named DaQua, to build a database for modelEAU. This project aim was to preserve data quality and to easily search information on it. He worked on these two projects during the summer.
