A powerful large capacity database for raw and validated water quality data
Characterizing and modelling the influent and the effluent of grit chambers
Monitoring, understanding, modelling and improving the KAMAK wastewater treatmen
Monitoring, understanding, modelling and improving the KAMAK wastewater treatmen

Research fields :

Queralt did a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at Universitat de Barcelona in 2010. She continued her studies in a master’s program in environmental engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya where she developed her master’s thesis in modelEAU. Afterwards, she pursued another master in water engineering at Université Laval on the field of automatic monitoring stations and quality data collection.

Queralt’s project is about the comprehension and modelling of the grit chambers of a WWTP.  The aim of the dessablEAU project is the characterization and modelling of the grit chambers performance. This knowledge will allow optimizing their efficiency and reducing the negative impacts to the downstream processes on a WWTP.
