Projects :
Retention tanks

Research fields :

For its internship, Benjamin joined the modelEAU research team, which was involved in a project that studies the dynamic behaviour of storm tanks: retEAU.

The work involved setting up measuring campaigns at a particular storm tank, intensive sampling during rain events, particles and pollutants analysis in the environmental laboratory, and data interpretation and reporting. These data have been used in the project to create a model of the storm tank that will subsequently be used for optimization. Another part of his work was to think about a new strategy for emptying the storm tanks in order to minimize their impacts on the wastewater treatment plant.
