Climate change and wastewater treatment: A modelling study

Responsables :

The goals of the project are to develop a novel model to describe and evaluate the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from wastewater treatment plants and to propose control strategies based on simulation. Nitrous oxide is a powerful GHG which is produced during nitrogen removal. The study of emissions such as nitrous oxide and other GHGs from treatment plants is highly significant to climate-related research.
