Daniel obtained a college diploma in water treatment at Cegep of Saint Foy, Quebec, Canada (1994). He has more than 25 years in industrial water treatment. Since February 2019, he works as a research laboratory technician for the Canada Research Chair in Water Quality Modelling located at Université Laval in Quebec City, Canada.

He is responsible of the modelEAU wastewater treatment pilot-laboratory and of the monitoring stations for water quality. His main function is the management and the operation of these facilities.
