modelEAU is the research team built around the Canada Research Chair on Water Quality Modelling that is held by Peter Vanrolleghem since February 2006. Ten graduate students, three postdocs and two research assistants carry out multifacetted studies in which models are the central ingredient. The research focus is mainly methodological, looking at data collection, data quality evaluation, development of new models and improved modelling approaches, model-based optimization and supporting software.

Our team is led by Professors Peter Vanrolleghem and Elena Torfs, supported by a dynamic group of PhD and Masters students, postdoctoral researchers and research assistants.
