Mathilde was a student  at the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) in Toulouse, France. She joined the modelEAU research group as part of her 4th year internship.

The aim of her internship in trhe primEAU project was to improve Standard Operational Procedures already existing for the analysis of the amount of carbohydrates contained in the effluents of Quebec’s wastewater treatment plant. She also had to work on the characterization of lipids contained in the wastewater and set up the operating protocol of a new device.
