David-Alexandre obtained a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in nature science in Cégep of Chicoutimi in 2016. In April 2020, he graduated with a bachelor in chemical engineering at the unviersité Laval.

In May 2020, he has started a master with Céline Vaneeckhaute and Peter Vanrolleghem like directors. His master project is on the valorization of a phosphorus solution recuperated from a wastewater effluent to produce a biochar-based fertilizer. He will also a do modeling part on the phosphorus adsorption and he will use the biomethanation residuals to valorize it in added value fertilizer.
