Mathias was a French student in second year of DUT (University technological degree) in chemical and process engineering at the University of Marseilles 3. He carried out a ten weeks internship at the Université Laval in order to validate his diploma in the end of the year.

Mathias was working on the project primEAU. He had to analyze the respirometry of the bacterium in various parts of the primary decanter thanks to a respirometer BIOS-R. The goal was to model the quality of wastewater and its treatement.
