Wastewater treatment, drinking water

Intern

Domaines de recherche :

Maxence obtained his high school diploma with scientific specialty in 2011 in France. He then realized two years of higher school preparatory classes to get into engineering school with a physics-chemistry specialty (PCSI-PC). He'd been studying since 2013 at the National Engineering School of Environmental and Water (engineering school in Strasbourg, France).

During his internship of the second year of engineering school (3 months), Maxence worked on the project pilEAUte. He realized several analyses (MSS, NH4, NO3, K, TNtot, COD…) at various places of the pilote (buffer tank, primary clarifier, bioreactor, secondary clarifier and effluent). He used his results  to describe the operation of the plant, but also to calibrate sensors. Indeed, he worked on a measurement station allowing to monitor in real time the parameters of wastewater (validation and calibration of the sensors, the exploitation and the filtration of the data, maintenance).
