Daniel studied natural sciences in college. In 2019, he has began his bachelor's degree in water engineering at Université Laval. After completing his undergraduate studies, he will begin his master's degree in 2023, where he will continue the work on the innEAUvareg project.

As a research assistant, Daniel will help in three different areas: analysis and maintenance in the pilEAUte laboratory, wastewater respirometry for a Digital Twin as well as data storage and visualization for improved process control.
