Karen is a current Biotechnology Engineering student at Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education based in Mexico, who had also been at Autonomous University of Madrid during the first semester of 2018, where she took courses related with Sustainable Development.

Karen is now working with the pilot team as a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern during summer 2019, carrying out projects and learning from pH dynamics where titrador is used for making acid-base titrations. Also COD fraction projects are done by employing RODTOX, Oxitop and different types of kits.
