Charles-Florian obtained his bachelor of science in 2009. When he joined the modelEAU team, he was pursuing a double degree at Chimie ParisTech and AgroParisTech (graduate schools belonging to the ParisTech Institute of Technology).

For his engineering school program, he did an internship at modelEAU as part of the primEAU project. He was working on the data analysis of micropollutants and the modelisation of the fate of these contaminants in wastewater treatment plants.
