Florian obtained his bachelor's degree in 2013, after which he headed to a DUT GCGP (Diploma of higher education in chemical engineering process) at Aix Marseille University, to get a higher technician position. During his formation, he dealt with the unit operations of process engineering (settling, flocculation, filtration, distillation, extraction ...) purely theoretical but also reduced to an industrial pilot scale.

During his internship in the modelEAU team, Florian performed tests, did maintenance, and also performed sampling on a wastewater treatment pilot plant of 5m3.
